It is not the first time I have eaten Doritos Chilli Ribs (they not that hot), but it is the first time I have eaten them since getting the Samsung Galaxy Note. It inspired me to take this image. It is actually two images. The first picture I took was of me with my mouth wide open. It was a challenge to get that image as I did not want the picture from the lower resolution, front facing camera so I had to shoot guessing my composition and trying to touch only the shutter button on a touch screen phone with the screen facing away from me. It is the only time I have missed having a dedicated camera button on a phone.

Next I took a picture of the Doritos bag. I selected and cropped it using the Lasso tool in the Galaxy Note’s native photo editing app and the S-Pen. I exported it to the image of my self portrait and added the flames with my rather non artistic hand. The colour cast and other effects were applied using Pixlr-o-matic.
