Greetings
Many would say I should have been born with a camera in my hand. It seems that ever since the photography bug bit me back in primary school that I have only been able to eat, drink, breathe photography.
I have experienced the photographic industry from several areas including retail, wholesale and marketing for a large camera brand. I am also the founder of PhotoComment, a South African based photography magazine and blog that began as a labour of love in 2007/8 and has grown to be a large part of my life today.
I enjoy taking photographs and meeting people. I also have a knack – or so I’ve been told – of helping beginners and intermediate photographers get to grips with their cameras and many of the techniques or concepts of photography. For this reason I offer my services as a tutor in a one on one or small group enviroment.
My goals photographically for 2011 is to start two projects that are closely related. Photographing the people and photographing the places of South Africa.
